Vellore Road Overbridge Nears Completion By December

Construction of a new road overbridge on the Krishnagiri-Ranipet Main Road in Vellore town is nearing completion, with over 70 percent of the work finished. The ₹37.62 crore project, replacing a railway level crossing, is expected to be ready by the end of December. This two-lane bridge, funded by the Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, will significantly reduce travel detours for motorists and improve access to nearby towns and the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway.

वेल्लोर शहर में कृष्णागिरी-रानीपेट मेन रोड पर बन रहा नया रोड ओवरब्रिज लगभग पूरा होने वाला है। 70% से ज़्यादा काम ख़त्म हो चुका है। ₹37.62 करोड़ का यह प्रोजेक्ट, जो रेलवे लेवल क्रॉसिंग की जगह ले रहा है, दिसंबर के अंत तक तैयार हो जाएगा। दो लेन वाला यह पुल, जिसे केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय से फंड मिला है, लोगों के आने-जाने के समय को कम करेगा और आस-पास के कस्बों व चेन्नई-बेंगलुरु नेशनल हाईवे तक पहुँच आसान बनाएगा।
