Tungsten has been designated a critical mineral by multiple countries, including the US, EU, Japan, and India. Currently, the active spot market for tungsten lacks a futures trading platform. The new financially settled contract will be based on Fastmarkets' assessment for tungsten ammonium paratungstate.
