A Brisbane homeowner, Anton Ady, has won a legal battle to revive his warranty claim for a property with nine structural defects. The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal overturned the regulator's rejection of his claim, which was initially dismissed over a procedural issue. Ady purchased the home in April 2021, and subsequent engineering reports revealed significant foundation and site stability problems. The builder has since gone into liquidation.
