UP MLC Poll at 3 Agra Stations Declared Void; Repoll Ordered

The Election Commission has declared the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council poll held on Friday at three polling stations in Agra division's teachers constituency as void. This decision follows allegations of poll irregularities and harassment made by the Samajwadi Party candidate. A repoll has been ordered for October 26, with the EC asking for responsibility to be fixed for the lapses. The commission also directed that individuals involved in unlawful activities during the initial poll should not be deputed for the repoll.
