Bengaluru Supplier Loses Rs 39 Lakh After Pepper Consignment Fraud

A Bengaluru-based supplier, Gurukrupa Agrotech, has been defrauded of Rs 39.4 lakh after a man posing as a wholesale dealer purchased 5 tonnes of black pepper. The accused, Sahil Dipak Kuchekar, contacted the company via email and placed a purchase order for the consignment, valued at Rs 750 per kg. He promised payment within two days but disappeared after taking delivery. Upon investigation, the supplier found the shop locked and the business name changed.

बेंगलुरु की कंपनी गुरुकृपा एग्रोटेक से 39.4 लाख रुपये की ठगी हुई है। एक आदमी ने थोक व्यापारी बनकर 5 टन काली मिर्च खरीदी थी। आरोपी साहिल दीपक कुचेकर ने ईमेल से कंपनी से संपर्क किया और 750 रुपये प्रति किलो के हिसाब से ऑर्डर दिया। उसने दो दिन में पेमेंट का वादा किया था लेकिन डिलीवरी के बाद गायब हो गया। जांच करने पर सप्लायर को दुकान बंद मिली और बिजनेस का नाम भी बदला हुआ मिला।
