Godavari Biorefineries' shares surged over 11% after China's patent office granted the company a patent for compounds used in treating viral infections. The patent, authorised on September 15, 2026, covers compounds that inhibit V-ATPase activity in cells. This development marks a significant step for the integrated biorefinery, known for its bio-based chemicals and ethanol production.
