US Prisoner Seeking Pasta Released From Jail

A special NIA court in Delhi has granted relief to American national Matthew Aaron Vandyke and six Ukrainian citizens. The court has allowed Vandyke to travel to the US and the Ukrainian nationals to visit Ukraine for one month, subject to certain conditions. All seven foreign nationals have also been granted default bail and are expected to be released from Tihar Jail. Vandyke had previously sought permission for an 'American style diet' in jail, citing issues with the spicy food.

दिल्ली की एक विशेष NIA कोर्ट ने अमेरिकी नागरिक मैथ्यू आरोन वेंडाइक और छह यूक्रेनी नागरिकों को बड़ी राहत दी है। कोर्ट ने वेंडाइक को अमेरिका जाने और यूक्रेनी नागरिकों को एक महीने के लिए यूक्रेन जाने की इजाजत दे दी है, लेकिन कुछ शर्तें रखी हैं। सभी सात विदेशी नागरिकों को डिफ़ॉल्ट जमानत भी मिल गई है और वे तिहाड़ जेल से रिहा हो सकते हैं। वेंडाइक ने पहले जेल के मसालेदार खाने से दिक्कत बताते हुए 'अमेरिकन स्टाइल डाइट' की मांग की थी।
