NCP Faction Merges With All India Forward Bloc On Oct. 4

A faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by N.A. Muhammed Kutty will formalise its merger with the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB). The merger meeting is scheduled to take place at the Ernakulam Town Hall. Muhammed Kutty stated that the decision was driven by the NCP national leadership's alignment with the NDA after Sunetra Pawar took over. This faction will continue to support the AIFB's alignment with the INDIA bloc and its fight against the Chief Election Commissioner.
