Mom Who Drowned Saving Son Found After Day-Long Search

The body of Priti Dutta, 34, who drowned while saving her seven-year-old son at Ghaghra Falls in Belpahari on Saturday, was recovered on Sunday evening. She was swept away by strong currents after her son fell into the water while taking photographs. A large-scale search operation involving SDRF, NDRF, divers, and other agencies was conducted. The administration plans to increase surveillance and erect warning signboards to prevent tourists from entering hazardous areas at the falls, which has seen previous tragedies.

शनिवार को बेलपहाड़ी के घाघरा फॉल्स में अपने सात साल के बेटे को बचाते हुए डूबने वाली 34 वर्षीय प्रीति दत्ता का शव रविवार शाम को बरामद हुआ। तस्वीरें लेते समय उनके बेटे के पानी में गिरने के बाद वह तेज धाराओं में बह गईं। SDRF, NDRF, गोताखोरों और अन्य एजेंसियों को शामिल करते हुए एक बड़े पैमाने पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया गया। प्रशासन ने पर्यटकों को झरने के खतरनाक इलाकों में प्रवेश करने से रोकने के लिए निगरानी बढ़ाने और चेतावनी संकेत बोर्ड लगाने की योजना बनाई है, जहाँ पहले भी दुखद घटनाएँ हो चुकी हैं।
