Athletes to stay in containers at Asiad

Indian athletes at the upcoming Asian Games will be housed in a mix of converted shipping containers, a docked cruise ship, and hotels. Deputy chef-de-mission Achanta Sharath Kamal stated that Indian athletes have prior experience with container accommodation, as facilities were built on SAI campuses. He believes they will adjust quickly to the unusual arrangements, with the focus remaining on performance. Around 4,000-5,000 athletes will stay on the cruise liner Costa Serena.
