Delhi Launches 150 New Electric Buses, 13 Air Monitoring Stations

Delhi has launched 150 new electric buses and 13 new air quality monitoring stations to combat pollution and promote clean public transport. The buses were flagged off from Anand Vihar ISBT, increasing the city's electric bus fleet to 5,238. The new monitoring stations bring the total to 60, enhancing real-time tracking of air quality. Additionally, five new EV charging stations were inaugurated across the city. This initiative is part of a larger plan to improve public transport and environmental conditions in the capital.

दिल्ली ने प्रदूषण से लड़ने और स्वच्छ सार्वजनिक परिवहन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 150 नई इलेक्ट्रिक बसें और 13 नए वायु गुणवत्ता निगरानी स्टेशन लॉन्च किए हैं। बसों को आनंद विहार ISBT से हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया गया, जिससे शहर की इलेक्ट्रिक बस बेड़े की संख्या बढ़कर 5,238 हो गई है। नए निगरानी स्टेशनों से कुल संख्या 60 हो गई है, जिससे वायु गुणवत्ता की रियल-टाइम ट्रैकिंग बेहतर हुई है। इसके अतिरिक्त, शहर भर में पांच नए EV चार्जिंग स्टेशनों का भी उद्घाटन किया गया। यह पहल राजधानी में सार्वजनिक परिवहन और पर्यावरणीय परिस्थितियों को बेहतर बनाने की एक बड़ी योजना का हिस्सा है।
