Delhi's historic 125-year-old Race Course Mosque is at the center of a growing controversy, with occupants reportedly given six days to vacate the premises. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has urged Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to intervene immediately in the matter. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also expressed concern, questioning the safety of religious sites if a legally recognized Waqf property is threatened. The mosque has been a notified Waqf property since 1977 and is also listed as a heritage site, yet an eviction order has been issued.

दिल्ली की ऐतिहासिक 125 साल पुरानी रेस कोर्स मस्जिद एक बड़े विवाद के केंद्र में आ गई है, जहाँ कथित तौर पर कब्ज़े वालों को परिसर खाली करने के लिए छह दिन का समय दिया गया है। AIMIM प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू से इस मामले में तुरंत हस्तक्षेप करने की अपील की है। मीरवाइज उमर फारूक ने भी चिंता जताई और सवाल किया कि अगर कानूनी रूप से मान्यता प्राप्त वक्फ संपत्ति को खतरा है तो धार्मिक स्थलों की सुरक्षा का क्या होगा। मस्जिद 1977 से एक अधिसूचित वक्फ संपत्ति है और इसे एक विरासत स्थल के रूप में भी सूचीबद्ध किया गया है, फिर भी बेदखली का आदेश जारी किया गया है।
