कलाकार रईहान वद्रा ने बीकानेर हाउस के अधिकारियों के साथ अपनी प्रदर्शनी से तस्वीरें हटाने को लेकर हुई बातचीत का ब्योरा दिया। अधिकारियों ने दिल्ली में युवा विरोध प्रदर्शनों को दर्शाने वाली तस्वीरों पर आपत्ति जताई और प्रदर्शनी के उद्घाटन से कुछ घंटे पहले उन्हें हटाने की मांग की। वद्रा ने आरोप लगाया कि प्रशासन ने अपनी आपत्तियों के लिए लिखित स्पष्टीकरण देने से इनकार कर दिया। राजनीतिक सामग्री हटाने की अपनी इच्छा के बावजूद, राष्ट्रीय ध्वज वाली 70 तस्वीरों सहित सभी को अंततः स्थल को सील करने की धमकी के तहत हटा दिया गया।
