Election Commission to Conduct Annual Revision of Electoral Rolls in 16 States and UTs

The Election Commission has announced it will conduct a special summary revision of electoral rolls in 13 states and three Union Territories. This exercise follows a special intensive revision already carried out in these regions. The poll panel also stated that this revision will take place in Assam, where it had previously decided not to undertake the intensive exercise.
