The Congress has strongly criticized the BJP regarding alleged fake attendance cases within the VB-G RAM G scheme. Jairam Ramesh highlighted that similar incidents of fake attendance using clone apps have been reported in Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar districts. He questioned how many more "sins" the BJP would commit in Lord Ram's name, referencing past donation theft allegations. The party stated that attacking the poor's rights while invoking Lord Ram's name is the BJP's modus operandi.

कांग्रेस ने वीबी-जी राम जी योजना में कथित फर्जी हाजिरी के मामलों को लेकर भाजपा की कड़ी आलोचना की है। जयराम रमेश ने बताया कि गोरखपुर और संत कबीर नगर जिलों में क्लोन ऐप का इस्तेमाल कर फर्जी हाजिरी की ऐसी ही घटनाएं सामने आई हैं। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि भाजपा भगवान राम के नाम पर और कितने "पाप" करेगी, और पिछले दान चोरी के आरोपों का जिक्र किया। पार्टी ने कहा कि भगवान राम का नाम लेकर गरीबों के अधिकारों पर हमला करना भाजपा का तरीका है।
