US Reduces Tariff Rate on India to 10%

The US has reduced its tariff rate on India from 12.5% to 10%. US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer announced the revised tariffs on 60 economies on Thursday. This move comes one day before the expiry of temporary additional 10% duties imposed on imports from all countries. The reduction in tariffs is expected to impact trade relations between the two nations.

अमेरिका ने भारत पर अपना टैरिफ रेट 12.5% से घटाकर 10% कर दिया है। यूएस ट्रेड रिप्रेजेंटेटिव Jamieson Greer ने गुरुवार को 60 देशों के लिए बदले हुए टैरिफ का ऐलान किया। यह फैसला सभी देशों से आयात पर लगाए गए अस्थायी 10% अतिरिक्त शुल्क की अवधि समाप्त होने से ठीक एक दिन पहले आया है। टैरिफ में इस कमी से दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापारिक संबंधों पर असर पड़ने की उम्मीद है।
