Ranchi Schools Closed Due To Heavy Rain

In response to a heavy rainfall alert issued by the India Meteorological Department, all schools in Ranchi will remain closed. The order, applicable to all government and private schools from nursery to Class 12, was issued by the District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner. This decision aims to ensure the safety of students and staff amidst potential inclement weather. Teachers and staff at government schools are required to mark their attendance online and undertake non-academic duties. Any essential examinations scheduled for will be decided by the respective school heads.
