मेघालय के शिक्षा मंत्री लाहक्मेन रिम्बई ने कहा कि NEP 2020 को लागू करने में भाषाई विविधता, शिक्षकों की कमी और शैक्षिक बुनियादी ढांचे में कमी बड़ी चुनौतियां हैं। एक सेमिनार को संबोधित करते हुए, रिम्बई ने नीति के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों और व्यावहारिक समाधानों का आह्वान किया। मुख्य चिंताओं में संसाधन साझाकरण, भाषा की बाधाएं, शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण और प्रौद्योगिकी का एकीकरण शामिल हैं। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि कक्षाओं को शिक्षा के अलावा खोज और कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देना चाहिए। मंत्री ने राज्य की विविध मूल भाषाओं और शिक्षकों की अलग-अलग उपलब्धता के कारण तीन-भाषा नीति की जटिलता पर प्रकाश डाला।
