DMK Asks Court to Summon CM Over POCSO

The DMK has petitioned the Madras High Court to direct the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to summon Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and Ministers Aadhav Arjuna and C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar. The party seeks to ascertain if they possess evidence regarding the alleged shielding of the Gem Granites founder in a POCSO Act case. DMK treasurer T.R. Baalu stated that failing to share information with the SIT constitutes a criminal offense.

डीएमके ने मद्रास हाई कोर्ट में याचिका दायर कर स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम (SIT) को तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री सी. जोसेफ विजय और मंत्रियों आदव अर्जुन और सी.टी.आर. निर्मल कुमार को तलब करने का निर्देश देने की मांग की है। पार्टी यह जानना चाहती है कि क्या उनके पास POCSO एक्ट मामले में जेम ग्रेनाइट्स के संस्थापक को कथित तौर पर बचाने से संबंधित कोई सबूत है। डीएमके के कोषाध्यक्ष टी.आर. बालू ने कहा कि SIT के साथ जानकारी साझा न करना एक आपराधिक अपराध है।
