Modi, Xi Agree India-China Are Partners

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping reached a consensus that India and China should view each other as partners, not rivals. The leaders met on the sidelines of the BRICS summit. They agreed to maintain border peace, support each other's BRICS chairmanships, and deepen political trust. Both sides also committed to managing differences appropriately and strengthening cooperation in various fields, including cultural exchanges.
