Delhi Police have busted a fake Apple technical-support call centre in west Delhi's Naraina Industrial Area that defrauded US residents. The accused posed as Apple executives, falsely claiming devices had viruses or pornographic content, and then demanded gift cards for supposed fixes. Seven individuals, including the alleged owner and partner, have been arrested. The operation, named 'Veptra', used software like UltraViewer and AnyDesk to target victims. Police are investigating the full network and money trail, including gift card transactions and digital evidence.
