Calm Parisians and Jogger Defy Rioting Chaos in France

Times of India · world

Amidst widespread violent protests in France, striking visuals have emerged showing residents maintaining composure. One video captures a couple calmly dining outdoors near the Arc De Triomphe in Paris, seemingly unfazed by the surrounding unrest. Another clip shows a determined jogger running directly through a crowd of rioters. These scenes offer a stark contrast to the arson, looting, and attacks on public buildings reported across several French cities. Authorities have responded by increasing security measures and considering localized curfews, with over 2,400 arrests made nationwide.
