Foreign Investors Pull $3.84 Lakh Crore From India

Despite India's strong GDP growth, foreign institutional investors have withdrawn approximately ₹3.84 lakh crore ($40 billion) from Indian equities over the past two years. A Bernstein Research report indicates that traditional indicators like economic growth are no longer sufficient to attract foreign capital. Factors such as the rupee's performance against the dollar and market valuations are now more critical for investors. This trend has led to domestic investors playing a larger role in the Indian stock market compared to foreign ones.

भारत की मजबूत GDP ग्रोथ के बावजूद, पिछले दो सालों में विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशकों ने भारतीय इक्विटी से करीब ₹3.84 लाख करोड़ ($40 बिलियन) निकाले हैं। Bernstein Research की एक रिपोर्ट बताती है कि आर्थिक विकास जैसे पारंपरिक संकेत अब विदेशी पूंजी को आकर्षित करने के लिए काफी नहीं हैं। डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपये का प्रदर्शन और बाजार का मूल्यांकन जैसे कारक अब निवेशकों के लिए ज़्यादा अहम हैं। इस वजह से, भारतीय शेयर बाज़ार में विदेशी निवेशकों की तुलना में घरेलू निवेशकों की भूमिका ज़्यादा बढ़ गई है।
