Bank of India has officially declared its ₹575 crore exposure to Future Enterprises (FEL) as fraudulent. The bank communicated this development in a stock exchange notice, stating that the account was already classified as non-performing and had been fully provided for. Future Enterprises, previously involved in developing, owning, and leasing retail infrastructure for the Future Group, was admitted to insolvency proceedings in 2022. The company also managed the group's investments in various subsidiaries and joint ventures across sectors like insurance and textiles.

बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने आधिकारिक तौर पर फ्यूचर एंटरप्राइजेज (FEL) के ₹575 करोड़ के एक्सपोजर को धोखाधड़ी घोषित कर दिया है। बैंक ने स्टॉक एक्सचेंज नोटिस में यह जानकारी दी, जिसमें कहा गया कि खाता पहले से ही नॉन-परफॉर्मिंग के रूप में वर्गीकृत था और इसके लिए पूरी तरह से प्रावधान किया गया था। फ्यूचर एंटरप्राइजेज, जो पहले फ्यूचर ग्रुप के लिए रिटेल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकसित करने, उसका मालिक बनने और उसे लीज पर देने में शामिल थी, को 2022 में दिवालियापन की कार्यवाही में स्वीकार किया गया था। कंपनी बीमा और टेक्सटाइल जैसे क्षेत्रों में विभिन्न सहायक कंपनियों और संयुक्त उद्यमों में समूह के निवेश का प्रबंधन भी करती थी।
