पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान के विशेष कर्तव्य अधिकारी (ओएसडी) राजबीर सिंह घुमन ने उनके खिलाफ सीबीआई की एफआईआर को पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती दी है। घुमन का आरोप है कि सीबीआई ने सरकारी मंजूरी के बिना अवैध रूप से कार्रवाई की और एजेंसी ने सबूतों की एक "लगाई-लगाई" लिस्ट पेश की। वह एफआईआर, तलाशी की कार्यवाही और तलाशी वारंट को रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं, उनका तर्क है कि भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम की धारा 17ए के तहत लोक सेवकों की जांच से पहले सरकारी मंजूरी अनिवार्य है।
