Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has accused the ruling BJP government of resorting to vote theft to secure power in the state. Addressing a Congress workers' conference, Hooda claimed that despite widespread sentiment favouring the Congress, the election results were contrary, suggesting foul play. He also questioned the Election Commission regarding significant increases in Haryana's voter turnout figures after EVMs were sealed. Hooda further alleged that the BJP government has failed farmers, youth, and women, citing issues like delayed paddy procurement and a substantial rise in state debt.
