CJI Surya Kant Asks INDIA Bloc to Fix Defects in Plea Against EC

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has directed petitioners in cases concerning Delhi's electoral roll revision to rectify defects in their pleas. This comes after the Supreme Court registry flagged 14 issues in the INDIA bloc's petition against the Election Commission. The defects included a missing copy of Mallikarjun Kharge's ID, illegible pages, and a shortfall in court fees. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut acknowledged the technical errors, stating they would be corrected.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्य कांत ने दिल्ली की चुनावी सूची संशोधन से जुड़े मामलों में याचिकाकर्ताओं को अपनी याचिकाओं में खामियां सुधारने का निर्देश दिया है। यह तब हुआ जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट रजिस्ट्री ने चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ INDIA गठबंधन की याचिका में 14 मुद्दे उठाए। खामियों में मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे के आईडी की एक प्रति गायब होना, अपठनीय पृष्ठ और कोर्ट शुल्क में कमी शामिल थी। शिव सेना (यूबीटी) के सांसद संजय राउत ने तकनीकी त्रुटियों को स्वीकार करते हुए कहा कि उन्हें ठीक कर लिया जाएगा।
