Made-in-India Electric SUV eVitara Earns 4-Star Safety Rating in Japan

Maruti Suzuki's India-manufactured electric SUV, the eVitara, has achieved a 4-star safety rating in Japan's NCAP crash tests. This follows similar 4-star ratings from Australia's ANCAP and a 5-star rating from India's Bharat NCAP. The eVitara is produced in India and exported globally. The Japanese test evaluated crash protection, accident prevention systems, and post-accident notification features, noting different testing protocols compared to India. The SUV offers two battery options, with a maximum range of 543 km on a full charge.

मारुति सुजुकी की भारत में बनी इलेक्ट्रिक एसयूवी, eVitara, ने जापान के NCAP क्रैश टेस्ट में 4-स्टार सुरक्षा रेटिंग हासिल की है। इससे पहले ऑस्ट्रेलिया के ANCAP से 4-स्टार और भारत के Bharat NCAP से 5-स्टार रेटिंग मिली थी। eVitara का उत्पादन भारत में होता है और इसे दुनिया भर में निर्यात किया जाता है। जापानी टेस्ट में क्रैश सुरक्षा, दुर्घटना रोकथाम प्रणाली और दुर्घटना के बाद की सूचना सुविधाओं का मूल्यांकन किया गया, जिसमें भारत की तुलना में अलग परीक्षण प्रोटोकॉल देखे गए। एसयूवी दो बैटरी विकल्पों के साथ आती है, जो एक बार फुल चार्ज होने पर 543 किमी तक की अधिकतम रेंज देती है।
