Kota Doctors Reinstated After No Negligence Found in Postpartum Deaths Probe

Three senior faculty members suspended following postpartum deaths and kidney failures at Kota Medical College have been reinstated. Four separate inquiry committees, including panels from AIIMS Delhi and SMS Medical College Jaipur, found no medical negligence by the doctors. The investigations reviewed treatment protocols and patient histories, concluding that the doctors had followed applicable procedures. The suspensions were initiated in May after public outrage over the deaths of five women and subsequent kidney complications in seven others.

कोटा मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रसवोत्तर मौतों और किडनी फेल होने के बाद निलंबित किए गए तीन वरिष्ठ फैकल्टी सदस्यों को बहाल कर दिया गया है। AIIMS दिल्ली और SMS मेडिकल कॉलेज जयपुर के पैनल सहित चार अलग-अलग जांच समितियों ने डॉक्टरों द्वारा कोई चिकित्सकीय लापरवाही नहीं पाई। जांच में उपचार प्रोटोकॉल और रोगी इतिहास की समीक्षा की गई, और यह निष्कर्ष निकाला गया कि डॉक्टरों ने लागू प्रक्रियाओं का पालन किया था। पांच महिलाओं की मौत और बाद में सात अन्य में किडनी संबंधी जटिलताओं पर सार्वजनिक आक्रोश के बाद मई में निलंबन शुरू किया गया था।
