India Slams Pakistan At UN Over Kashmir

India has strongly rebuked Pakistan at the UN Human Rights Council for its remarks on Kashmir and minorities. Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi highlighted Pakistan's illegal occupation of parts of Jammu and Kashmir and demanded their vacation. He also pointed out Pakistan's own minority issues, including forced conversions and persecution, contrasting it with India's diverse population. Tyagi accused Pakistan of arming terrorists who drove Kashmiri Pandits out in 1990. Separately, India rejected Pakistan's misrepresentation of an Indus Waters Treaty arbitration ruling.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद में भारत ने कश्मीर और अल्पसंख्यकों पर पाकिस्तान की टिप्पणियों को लेकर कड़ी निंदा की है। भारतीय राजनयिक क्षितिज त्यागी ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के कुछ हिस्सों पर पाकिस्तान के अवैध कब्जे का जिक्र किया और वहां से हटने की मांग की। उन्होंने पाकिस्तान में अल्पसंख्यकों के साथ हो रहे दुर्व्यवहार, जबरन धर्मांतरण और उत्पीड़न का भी उल्लेख किया। त्यागी ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान 1990 में कश्मीरी पंडितों को भगाने वाले आतंकवादियों को हथियार देता रहा है। भारत ने सिंधु जल संधि पर पाकिस्तान द्वारा गलत बयानी को भी खारिज कर दिया।
