The Indian government has agreed to cap trading margins on certain cancer drugs at 30 percent. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Supreme Court of this decision, stating that the list of affected medicines will be updated regularly. This move aims to address concerns about the pricing of essential cancer treatments. The government will periodically review and expand the list based on market dynamics and public health needs, ensuring more anti-cancer medications fall under this price regulation.
