Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated Iran does not seek a nuclear bomb and is prepared to reduce uranium enrichment levels and allow international inspections of its nuclear program. He blamed the US for closing dialogue channels and initiating conflict, referencing a past agreement aimed at de-escalation. Pezeshkian insisted that developing weapons of mass destruction is religiously forbidden in Iran. He made these remarks in New York while attending the UN General Assembly.
