Aaj Tak · lifestyle

According to Vastu Shastra, placing a refrigerator in the south-west or north-west direction of the kitchen is considered auspicious. It is advised to avoid the north-east direction, which is reserved for spiritual activities. Vastu experts also recommend keeping the fridge away from the gas stove due to the opposing elements of fire and cold. Recommended fridge colors include white, cream, silver, and green, symbolizing peace, purity, and prosperity. Proper placement and color choice are believed to maintain balance and positivity in the home.
