A severe dust storm originating from West Asia has significantly degraded Delhi's air quality, pushing the Air Quality Index (AQI) close to the 'very poor' category. This event has nullified the improvements gained during the monsoon season. The dust particles, carried by strong winds, have settled over the city, increasing particulate matter concentration.
