Midhun Reddy's counsel argued the cases were foisted on frivolous grounds, while the public prosecutor presented videos showing the MP's involvement. Complainants' lawyers contended his presence was unwarranted and that evidence indicated cognizable offenses. The court also noted a medical report showing injuries to the MP.

आंध्र प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट राजमपेट के सांसद पी.वी. मिधुन रेड्डी की उनके खिलाफ दर्ज चार FIR को रद्द करने की मांग वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई कर रहा है। पुलिस ने स्थानीय निकाय चुनाव नामांकन के दौरान हिंसा में कथित संलिप्तता के लिए पुंगानूर में ये FIR दर्ज की थीं। मिधुन रेड्डी के वकील ने दलील दी कि मामले झूठे आधार पर दर्ज किए गए थे, जबकि लोक अभियोजक ने सांसद की संलिप्तता दिखाने वाले वीडियो पेश किए। शिकायतकर्ताओं के वकीलों ने तर्क दिया कि उनकी उपस्थिति अनुचित थी और सबूतों से संज्ञेय अपराधों का संकेत मिलता है। अदालत ने सांसद को चोट लगने की मेडिकल रिपोर्ट का भी उल्लेख किया।
