Residents and traders have been asked to clear properties by Saturday, despite two petitions scheduled for Supreme Court and Rajasthan High Court hearings early next week. Four property owners have already secured protection from the JDA tribunal, potentially halting further demolition. This situation echoes previous road-widening efforts on Lt Gen Sagat Singh Marg and Bhrigu Path, which stalled after partial demolitions, leaving projects incomplete and commuters facing no improvements.
