राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (NHRC) ने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय और सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय को नोटिस भेजा है। यह कदम Meta प्लेटफॉर्म पर बच्चों के यौन शोषण से जुड़ी सामग्री उपलब्ध होने की खबरों के बाद उठाया गया है। आयोग ने ऐसी सामग्री के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए उठाए जा रहे कदमों पर विस्तृत रिपोर्ट मांगी है।
