Punjab Swine Flu Cases Rise Sharply

Punjab has recorded 384 confirmed swine flu (H1N1) cases and five deaths in the last two months, a significant increase compared to last year. Ludhiana is the most affected district with 104 confirmed infections. The state health department has directed hospitals to establish flu corners for early screening and treatment. This measure aims to ensure prompt identification and isolation of suspected patients to curb further transmission of the virus.

पंजाब में पिछले दो महीनों में स्वाइन फ्लू (H1N1) के 384 मामले सामने आए हैं और पांच लोगों की मौत हुई है। यह पिछले साल के मुकाबले काफी ज्यादा है। लुधियाना सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित जिला है, जहां 104 मामले मिले हैं। राज्य के स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अस्पतालों को फ्लू कॉर्नर बनाने का निर्देश दिया है ताकि मरीजों की शुरुआती जांच और इलाज हो सके। इससे संदिग्ध मरीजों की तुरंत पहचान कर उन्हें अलग किया जा सकेगा और वायरस को फैलने से रोका जा सकेगा।
