Among those detained were Shaheena, a homemaker, and Geetika, a software engineer, who expressed concerns about democracy and the lack of inquiry into serious allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner. The heavy security measures were in place to manage a planned protest by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) members.
