CJP Protest in Delhi: Founder Detained, Demands Extend Beyond CEC Resignation

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) organized a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral roll revisions. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and other leaders were detained by authorities, who also closed metro stations and cancelled trains. The CJP stated that even if Kumar resigns, their agitation will continue, as they also seek to halt upcoming elections, freeze the Special Intensive Revision exercise, and initiate criminal proceedings against Kumar.
