Al Jazeera · world

Grocery store refrigeration systems in Sweden, Belgium, and Luxembourg are experiencing rising temperatures due to suspected cyberattacks. Sweden's national cybersecurity centre is responding to multiple incidents affecting cooling systems, with freezers at several Swedish stores suddenly warming overnight. In Belgium and Luxembourg, dozens of Ahold Delhaize stores reported similar temperature increases, blamed on a cyberattack by a refrigeration company. This follows a similar cyberattack in France that caused food spoilage and fires, with one Swedish store noting its temperatures were set similarly to the French incident.
