Govt Accuses Rahul Gandhi's Protestors Of Molesting Female Cops

The Indian government has accused protestors led by Rahul Gandhi of misbehaving with and injuring female police personnel during a demonstration in Delhi. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Supreme Court that police officers were also subjected to abusive language but acted responsibly. The protest was deemed illegal as it lacked prior permission. The Supreme Court bench, headed by Chief Justice Surykant, emphasized the need to balance the right to protest with citizens' freedom of movement and access to essential services.

भारत सरकार ने राहुल गांधी के नेतृत्व वाले प्रदर्शनकारियों पर दिल्ली में एक प्रदर्शन के दौरान महिला पुलिसकर्मियों से दुर्व्यवहार करने और उन्हें घायल करने का आरोप लगाया है। सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को सूचित किया कि पुलिस अधिकारियों को अपमानजनक भाषा का भी सामना करना पड़ा, लेकिन उन्होंने जिम्मेदारी से काम लिया। यह विरोध प्रदर्शन अवैध माना गया क्योंकि इसके लिए पहले से अनुमति नहीं ली गई थी। मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्यकांत की अध्यक्षता वाली सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पीठ ने विरोध के अधिकार और नागरिकों की आवाजाही की स्वतंत्रता और आवश्यक सेवाओं तक पहुंच के बीच संतुलन की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
