A contractual computer operator in Bhagalpur, Bihar, has been arrested for embezzling approximately Rs 98 lakh from the government treasury. Avinash Raj allegedly used his technical skills and insider access to transfer funds to a fictitious teacher's account, even after his dismissal. The money trail led to bank accounts in Faridabad, Haryana, and was subsequently distributed via UPI to personal accounts, including those of his wife. Investigations revealed purchases of luxury cars, property, and expensive trips to hill stations, funded by the illicit gains.

बिहार के भागलपुर में एक संविदा कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटर को सरकारी खजाने से करीब 98 लाख रुपये गबन करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अविनाश राज पर आरोप है कि उसने अपनी नौकरी से निकाले जाने के बाद भी अपनी तकनीकी कुशलता और अंदरूनी पहुंच का इस्तेमाल करके एक फर्जी शिक्षक के खाते में पैसे ट्रांसफर किए। पैसों का सुराग फरीदाबाद, हरियाणा के बैंक खातों तक पहुंचा और बाद में यूपीआई के जरिए व्यक्तिगत खातों में, जिसमें उसकी पत्नी के खाते भी शामिल थे, बांट दिए गए। जांच में पता चला कि इन अवैध कमाई से लग्जरी कारें, प्रॉपर्टी और हिल स्टेशनों की महंगी यात्राएं की गईं।
