Bengaluru is expected to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers over the next 24 hours, with heavy showers possible at times. This forecast comes as a depression over the Bay of Bengal is predicted to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm. The storm is expected to make landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast by Wednesday. Scattered rainfall is also anticipated across parts of South Interior Karnataka, including Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts, between October 26 and 31.
