Andhra Pradesh's Arasavalli Sun Temple to Receive ₹55.74 Crore for Development

The historic Arasavalli Sun God temple in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district has been selected for development under the Union Ministry of Tourism's Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. The temple and its surroundings will receive ₹55.74 crore for various developmental activities. Planned projects include an experience centre, a dome over the sun deck, a restaurant, shopping area, landscaping, and an open-air theatre. Union Minister K. Rammohan Naidu stated that these developments will enhance the temple's national prominence and boost spiritual tourism in the region.
