Diya Chitale Wins Bronze After Coach's Death

Diya Chitale and Manush Shah secured India's first table tennis medal at the Asian Games, a bronze in mixed doubles. They reached the semifinals in Nagoya, where they lost to China's top pair. Chitale dedicated the medal to her coach, Peter Engel, who passed away a week prior. Engel had been instrumental in developing her game since 2015. This medal marks India's second mixed doubles medal at the Games, following a bronze in 2018.
