Suspected explosives and banned chemicals were recovered from a car on Jessore Road in Duttapukur, Kolkata, late on Wednesday night. The car's owner, Rakibul Islam, who owns a local motorcycle showroom, has been arrested and is being questioned by authorities. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guard (NSG), and forensic experts participated in the search operation. Investigators are probing whether the recovered materials were intended for subversive activities and their potential transport to Kolkata.
