According to the FIR, two individuals allegedly beat Sharma, pushing him to the ground where he sustained a head injury. He was taken to LNJP Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

दिल्ली मेट्रो में एक सीनियर सिटीजन सीट को लेकर हुए झगड़े ने खूनी रूप ले लिया, जिसमें 48 साल के पवन शर्मा की मौत हो गई। यह घटना सुप्रीम कोर्ट मेट्रो स्टेशन पर हुई। FIR के मुताबिक, दो लोगों ने कथित तौर पर शर्मा को पीटा और धक्का देकर जमीन पर गिरा दिया, जिससे उनके सिर में चोट लग गई। उन्हें LNJP अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन इलाज के दौरान उनकी मौत हो गई।
