SWR General Manager Inspects Mangaluru Railway Facilities Post Division Transfer

South Western Railway (SWR) General Manager P Ananth conducted an inspection of railway stations and operational facilities in Mangaluru on Friday. This visit follows the area's transfer to SWR's Mysuru division. The inspection covered train operations, safety, maintenance, passenger amenities, and inter-departmental coordination. Ananth also met with Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta to discuss pending infrastructure works and connectivity demands, including level crossings and proposed new stations. The Mysuru division is implementing measures to ensure smooth operations and quality passenger services in the newly integrated region.

दक्षिण पश्चिम रेलवे (SWR) के महाप्रबंधक पी अनंत ने शुक्रवार को मंगलुरु में रेलवे स्टेशनों और परिचालन सुविधाओं का निरीक्षण किया। यह दौरा क्षेत्र को SWR के Mysuru मंडल में स्थानांतरित किए जाने के बाद हुआ। निरीक्षण में ट्रेन संचालन, सुरक्षा, रखरखाव, यात्री सुविधाओं और अंतर-विभागीय समन्वय को शामिल किया गया। अनंत ने Dakshina Kannada के सांसद कैप्टन बृजेश चौटा से भी मुलाकात की ताकि लंबित बुनियादी ढांचा कार्यों और कनेक्टिविटी की मांगों पर चर्चा की जा सके, जिसमें लेवल क्रॉसिंग और प्रस्तावित नए स्टेशन शामिल हैं। Mysuru मंडल नए एकीकृत क्षेत्र में सुचारू संचालन और गुणवत्तापूर्ण यात्री सेवाएं सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उपाय लागू कर रहा है।
