India Deploys Drone Platoons Along China Border To Counter Threats

ITBP is establishing drone platoons in every border battalion to counter Chinese threats along the LAC. ITBP Director General Shastrajit Kapoor stated that traditional methods are insufficient against China, their biggest adversary. The government is investing heavily in drone capabilities, with 70% of a Rs 400 crore fund allocated to this. The ITBP is also developing its own drones and training pilots. Additionally, a new 'Shaurya Commando' team is being trained for situations like the 2020 Galwan clash.

आईटीबीपी एलएसी पर चीनी खतरों का मुकाबला करने के लिए हर सीमा बटालियन में ड्रोन पलटन स्थापित कर रही है। आईटीबीपी के महानिदेशक शस्त्रजीत कपूर ने कहा कि चीन, जो उनका सबसे बड़ा दुश्मन है, के खिलाफ पारंपरिक तरीके पर्याप्त नहीं हैं। सरकार ड्रोन क्षमताओं में भारी निवेश कर रही है, जिसमें 400 करोड़ रुपये के फंड का 70% इसी पर खर्च किया जाएगा। आईटीबीपी अपने ड्रोन विकसित करने और पायलटों को प्रशिक्षित करने पर भी काम कर रही है। इसके अलावा, 2020 के गलवान संघर्ष जैसी स्थितियों के लिए एक नई 'शौर्य कमांडो' टीम को प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है।
